Core Beliefs

A concise guide to our convictions on Christ, the Trinity, and salvation, rooted in Scripture.

• Jesus is the Son of God and is equal with God (John 1:149Luke 22:70Mark 3:11Philippians 2:5–11)
• Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life (Hebrews 4:15John 8:29)
• Jesus was crucified to pay the penalty for our sins (Matthew 26:281 Corinthians 15:2–4)
• Jesus rose from the dead (Luke 24:46Mark 16:6)
• We are saved by the grace of God; that is, we cannot add to or take away from Christ’s finished work on the cross as full payment for our sin (Ephesians 2:8–9)

Above all, the Trinity of God is the basis of this belief that God is the Son, the Son is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is God. All are one and are separate at the same time. This has been the case since the beginning of time. Their work orchestrated and executed the design of everything we see. Everything.

Saving faith/grace is inextricably linked to the Word of God that penetrates the heart and renews the mind: “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” (Romans 10:17).

A simple wooden cross, carved from rough cedar with visible knots and fibers, stands at the crest of a winding forest trail. Around it, autumn leaves in deep amber and burgundy blanket the path, and a distant lake glints through the trees. Soft overcast light filters through the canopy, creating a diffused, peaceful glow with subtle highlights along the cross’s edges. Captured from a low-angle perspective, the cross is centered against the sky, giving it quiet prominence. The composition follows the rule of thirds with the trail leading the eye upward, conveying the incarnation and sacrificial love of Christ in realistic, contemplative photographic style.

A weathered wooden trail sign at a mountain pass, its grain rich with texture and a small engraved cross subtly carved into the corner, stands at the intersection of two narrow dirt paths. Snow-dusted peaks rise in the distance under a crisp blue sky. Soft golden hour sunlight pours from the right, illuminating the sign’s edges and casting long, contemplative shadows across the rocky ground. Shot at eye level with a shallow depth of field so the sign is in sharp focus and the mountains fall into a gentle blur. The mood is reverent and hopeful, suggesting Christ as the way, in clean photographic realism for a professional Christian blog.
